At Freedom Harvest Farm, we take pride in living a slower, softer, & simpler life while creating natural handcrafted products without artificial ingredients & producing and harvesting pure raw honey. Creating handmade soaps and skincare products the old-fashioned way is important to us, working hard to produce high-quality products right here on our homestead in North Central Indiana. Additives such as natural fragrance oil, pure essential oil, milk, spices, herbs, coffee, tea, raw honey, beeswax, ground seeds, kaolin clays, and activated charcoal provide our products with fragrance, texture, exfoliating enhancement, natural coloring, and beneficial skin nourishment.
Our products are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We, or our products, do not claim to prevent, diagnose, or treat any condition or disease.

There are plenty of things blooming at Freedom Harvest Farm. As part of our philosophy, we deeply respect nature’s ways, so our products are produced locally and responsibly. We only sell whatever is in season, so you can be sure that anything you buy at Freedom Harvest Farm is made fresh.
Natural Handcrafted Soaps
All of our soaps are made with natural ingredients that are safe for everyone's skin. We like to keep in mind those who have sensitivities to common harsh ingredients and scents that can be found in most store-bought soaps. All scents and colors are from natural sources. Although our soaps are gentle on the skin, keep in mind that this isn't the same as tear-free.
Our soaps are all handcrafted in small batches, providing unique properties to each bar of soap. The shape, texture, aroma, weight, and color of our soaps may vary slightly with each batch. The pictures shown may vary in the final product due to the handcrafted nature.
All of our handcrafted natural bar soaps are safe to use from head to toe.
Each bar of soap ranges between 3-5 oz.
Natural Beeswax Lip Balm
Our handcrafted natural beeswax lip balm nourishes, protects, and softens lips while locking in moisture and protecting them from harsh elements. We create our lip balm using organic sweet almond oil, organic coconut oil, pure beeswax, and therapeutic grade essential oil. Hands down, this natural lip balm is light, smooth, and great for carrying in your pocket. We offer 4 natural lip balm options: peppermint, vanilla, sweet orange, and plain.
Each tube contains 1.5 oz.
Pure Raw Honey
We have been keeping honeybees since 2009 with multiple colonies (hives) right here on our homestead. Maintaining the health of each colony requires effort, knowledge, and skill. At least twice a year, we attend “bee school” where we participate in educational workshops for continuing education on best practices for beekeepers. Each spring is a time of growth for more honeybee colonies, as we continue to expand our apiary. Working with honeybees brings us excitement and a sort-of-grounding sensation. Being in touch with nature and the miraculous ability of not only the honeybees, but the production of healthful pure raw honey brings forth quite a blessing. Do we get stung? Sure, we do, but it is minimal each season. No pain, no gain, right? Working in the apiary does require some knowledge and skill to minimize upsetting the bees and maximize our workflow. We enjoy every part of beekeeping, but most of all the wonderful liquid gold that is produced each summer.
We are lifetime members of The Beekeepers of Indiana. Tom is a member of the Indiana Queen Breeders Association (IQBA).
Our honey is sold in BPA-free plastic bottles, each with a flip cap and safety seal for your protection. We also offer our honey in two sizes of glass bottles, 16 oz (1 lb) and 32 oz (2 lb), each with a plastic screw lid and safety seal.
DISCLAIMER:
Freedom Harvest Farm Honey is 100% Pure Raw Honey. Our honey is extracted from the hives using natural methods which are friendly to our bees and it is free of additives.
DO NOT feed raw honey to an infant under the age of 12 months old (1 year of age).
All pure raw honey will crystallize. To liquefy crystallized honey, heat a pan of water to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from heat, and place the honey container in the pan of hot water until liquified.
DO NOT microwave or refrigerate pure honey.
CERTIFIED FOOD HANDLER
Obtained via Always Food Safe Food Handler Course, ANSI accredited. Recertification occurs every two years to maintain proper requirements.
Salves & Butters
Our salves and butters start with nourishing oils that are known for their healing, calming, and skin-relieving properties. Beeswax is another important component. Beeswax contains anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial benefits. These benefits allow for the healing of minor skin wounds, preventing bacterial growth, and fighting minor infections. Beeswax is also great for calming irritated skin while providing needed nourishment and protection.
Pure Beeswax Candles
The Benefits of Beeswax Candles
Beeswax has the highest melting point of all candle waxes. This means that beeswax candles burn clean and impart a longer burn time when compared to other candles. They do not emit smoke or soot, are dripless, and clean the air when burning. Beeswax releases negative ions when burning, resulting in a completely clean and non-toxic burn. Negative ions boost alertness and energy levels, aid in relieving stress, reduce dust and dander in the air, and increase blood flow and serotonin levels in the brain. Our hand-rolled natural beeswax taper candles impart a subtle natural honey fragrance. These beeswax tapers are sold in sets of two 8.5-inch candles. Due to the nature and source of pure beeswax, our naturally colored candles can vary in hue from ivory to golden.
All-Natural Soy Wax Candles
Many of us spend much of our time at home, so why not create an uplifting and calming space using scented soy wax candles? Many candles are made with toxic ingredients that pollute the air in our homes and can have negative effects on our health.
Not all candles are created equal. Soy wax candles are a better option than paraffin wax candles due to soy wax producing a cleaner burn, while maintaining the health of you and your home. Paraffin wax candles are the dominate option on most store shelves, as they superiorly pass the inevitable sniff test.
Why is soy wax better than paraffin wax?
Soy wax is 100% natural, made from soybeans, a vegetable product. It burns slower than paraffin wax, resulting in a cleaner burn with less soot. Soy wax has a great fragrance throw, so no additional additives are required. Paraffin wax is a petroleum by-product, undergoing a high refinement process and is known for its cheap production cost. Paraffin carries an array of harmful toxins, including toluene and benzene. Toluene and benzene are also found in gasoline, airplane glue, plastic cement, paint thinner, hair dye, nail polish, spray paint, and cleaning products.
Our soy wax candles are made with approved clean burning fragrance oils and we do not add colorants to our candles.
Our Mission
Freedom Harvest Farm is a functional homestead full of excitement. We are beekeepers, gardeners, hunters, butchers, fishermen, creators, artists, homemakers, home cooks, small farmers, business owners, and DIYers. In addition to these creative roles, we also serve professional roles as a registered nurse and certified health coach, and an engineering manager and real estate broker & appraiser. We enjoy learning new skills, working with our hands, being creative, and enduring new adventures while growing, raising, & creating the majority of our needs.
We have ventured away from many conventional products, turning to our creativity and skill, intentionally creating natural products. As a wife, mother, grandmother, registered nurse, and health coach, the head creator, LeeAnn, enjoys artistically crafting natural products. We thrive on living a slower, softer, simpler, more self-sufficient, and wholesome homemade lifestyle. This pace of life is in our roots! Keeping alive the basic and older ways of living in the modern world is our mission and passion.
