Turmeric & Ginger Infused Raw Honey
Ginger is a powerful health-promoting root that can be found in most supermarkets. Benefits include natural antibiotic effects, improved digestion, detoxification, infections, reduced inflammation, improved circulation, and ease of nausea and motion sickness. The flavor array of ginger is complex and often described as warm, sweet, tangy, and spicy.
Turmeric is a strong antioxidant in traditional Ayurvedic (holistic) medicine. It is considered an herb that cleanses the body, especially focusing on the liver. It supports digestion, and treats fever, infection, and inflammation. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin which has proven to have powerful anti-inflammatory effects. Turmeric and black pepper work in tandem. Black pepper enhances the bioavailability (proportion) of curcumin entering circulation. Turmeric has a distinct earthy, bitter, and peppery flavor.
